Welcome Big Game Hunters and Anglers to Northern British Columbia, Canada!
Outfitting has always been a passion of this Outfitter and he has owned and operated this family business since 1977. Canada Moose hunting has been the majority of the business. He tries to personally guide on all hunts.
They are licensed Big Game Hunting and Angling Guides. They offer guided hunting trips for Canada Moose, Black Bear, Wolves, Mountain Lion, and Lynx and also hunting for Upland Birds. Their guests can also enjoy wilderness angling for wild Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Brown Trout and Sockeye Salmon. Their fall hunts for Canadian Moose, Mule Deer, Black Bear and Wolf are conducted via 4 wheel drive, horseback, foot or boat. He has twenty head of well-trained pack horses, which are used on somehunts. To access a portion of the area, they use the services of an old gold rush town, which includes lodging and meals for one early hunt. They prefer parties of no more than four sportsmen in camp at any time. This enables them to devote more personal time to their clients and harvest the trophy animals desired. The Outfitter tries to personally guide on all hunts. He caters to hunters from every ability level. All the guides are experienced within his area.

All meat is packed out. There is a local meat locker and custom meat-cutting service in near-by Quesnel, where you can have your game meat cut, wrapped and frozen to your specifications. The cost is reasonable but is not included in the price of the hunt. Taxidermy work is also your responsibility. Field preparation (capping, salting, etc) is done by the Outfitter or one of the Guides and is included in the price of the hunt. Hunting time will be temporarily held until your trophy and meat is prepared for the meat locker and prepared for transfer to a taxidermist of your choice.

Spring
His spring hunts for Black Bear, and Wolf are made along the Swift River, Quesnel River, Cariboo Mountain, Porter Creek and Cariboo River and are conducted in the same manner as my fall hunts.

Once desired game has been harvested, you may enjoy fishing at remote lakes near camp within walking or riding distance, provided you have purchased an angling license. There is also an abundant supply of Ruffed Grouse and a few Blue Grouse.

It is up to the guide to determine if the animal was hit enough to be fatal. Every effort must be made to find the animal. It is the hunter's choice to continue the search until the end of the hunt. If the animal is not found it is considered taken and the hunt for that species is finished. If the hunter has other tags he may continue for other species. No refunds will be given upon withdrawl from any hunt in process.
The Hunting Base Camp and Wilderness Lodge plus guest cabins are located near a 3000 foot meadow with a grass airstrip.
They have an exclusive hunting area of over 2500 square km of fine hunting country, Canada Moose hunting is the majority of their business in the fall hunting months. There is low resident hunting pressure, as Canada Moose are on Limited Entry Hunting. Resident hunting is on a draw system in order to be able to go hunting in the zones that the Outfitter operates in. If a resident hunter does not get a draw for Canada Moose hunting and wants to hunt, they must go to a zone that has general open season for Canada Moose Hunting.
