The Outfitter is the owner of the Hunting Ranch. This Hunting Area is famous for most of the larger plains game, such as Eland and Kudu. Apart from an outstanding Hunting Safari, they also offer trips around this beautiful Country. Situated in the Northern part of Namibia, a popular hunting region in Africa, we offer personally operated hunting safaris. ElandPro is a member of NAPHA (Namibia Professional Hunting Association). Most of the hunting areas are situated in the North East of the country in the Grootfontein area - 70 000 acres and other concessions in the central mountain areas.  You can mostly hunt plain game in Namibia and we also offer dangerous game safaris in Zimbabwe.

Namibia is approximately the size of Texas with about 2.5 million people. It is considered the safest country in Africa and English is our official language. Namibia is one of the most hunter friendly countries in Africa with friendly and helpful officials at the airport.

The trophy hunting season starts in February and closes at the end of November. Our summer is from December to end of February with temperatures around 35 ⁰C. Winter is from May to August with temperatures up to 20⁰C and occasionally frost in the morning.

For clothing you need light camo clothes, a jacket, gators and light boots. It is also important to bring sun screen and insect repellant.

This is a malaria area and precaution is needed especially during the summer time.  We have well equipped, modern private hospitals and any emergency services that might be needed is available.

With our dense vegetation and thick brush shooting distances average 100 yards and we recommend a heavy bullet that can penetrate. A .375 is highly recommended and not more than 100 cartridges per rifle can be brought into the country.
